L'histoire évoque un conflit d'interet et d'opinion entre un père et son fils. Le père croit fermement que la fin justifie les moyens. Son fils quant à lui estime que les moyens sont aussi importants que la fin et créera de ce fait un fossé infranchissable entre les deux hommes.

The story evokes a conflict of interests and opinions between a father and his son. The father firmly believes that the end justifies the means. His son, for his part, believes that the means are as important as the end and will therefore create an unbridgeable gap between the two men.
